Trains departing Saranac Lake & Lake Placid

Lake Placid/Saranac Lake train adventure is a 20 mile round trip from Lake Placid Station to Saranac Lake Union Depot. You can depart from either station. Be sure to take the time to walk through the village of Saranac Lake or the famous Lake Placid village before heading back. You can spend the day or just a few hours - 45 minutes each way with a 45 minute layover.
During selected days of the Summer, our trains have a train robbery, a clown, a magician and free ice cream! Check our Special Events page for dates. All trips are wheelchair accessible. |

No refunds will be issued for any tickets purchased. A date exchange will be offered. A limited of two changes. Please select your tickets carefully.
